Refunds
Fourteen days and under 24 hours of use, no questions asked, on your first payment.

The first 14 days
If the product does not do what you needed, email support@normalbrowser.com within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full, as long as you have used less than 24 hours of it. You do not have to explain, and we will not try to talk you out of it.
The 24 hour cap is the whole reason the free tier exists. Every feature, every engine and every platform is available for free, 1 session at a time with no account and 3 with a free one, no card either way, so testing whether it works for you should happen there, not on a paid plan. A paid plan is for running more sessions, and once it has run for a day it has done its job.
“Usage” means hours with at least one paid session running, added up across the 14 days. Two sessions running for an hour is one hour, not two.
We would like to know what went wrong, because it is the most useful feedback we get, but it is not a condition, and saying nothing does not slow the refund down.
After 14 days
Cancel any time from the billing portal. Your licence keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it does not renew. We do not pro-rate a partial month or a partial year by default.
Two exceptions, where we will refund the unused part of a term:
- We removed something you depended on. If a capability disappears and we cannot offer an alternative, that is our doing, not yours.
- We got the billing wrong. A duplicate charge, a charge after cancellation, or the wrong plan. Tell us and we will fix it without argument.
Where we will say no
- A licence cancelled for breaching the acceptable use policy.
- More than 24 hours of usage within the 14 day window. Test on the free tier first; that is what it is for.
- A term that has substantially been used, for example, a refund request on an annual plan eleven months in.
- “It did not get past a particular site.” Detection is adversarial and the outcome depends on your exit IP, your target and your behaviour as much as on the browser. That is exactly why the measurements on this site are commands you can run before you buy, and why there is a no-questions window in which to run them.
How to ask
Email support@normalbrowser.com from the address on the account. That is the whole process. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and usually appear within five to ten business days, depending on your bank.
Please ask us before your bank
A chargeback costs us the disputed amount plus a fee, and takes months to resolve. If you think a charge is wrong, email us, we will almost always refund it faster than a dispute would. Filing a chargeback without asking first ends the licence.
